Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
CQM Desk aims to make quantum-computing design and AI collaboration usable by everyone, regardless of ability, language or device. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our target.
Conformance status
The CQM Desk public website conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA (self-assessed, 17 October 2026). This is not a third-party or legal certification. Details for every criterion are in our VPAT 2.4 conformance report.
What you can use today
- “Skip to main content” link on the first Tab, and pages with headings and landmarks.
- Keyboard use of menus, the language selector (88 languages) and the Reading Settings panel; dialogs close with Esc and return focus.
- Circuit editor (Classic view): arrow keys move between cells, Enter places the selected gate and Delete removes it, with announcements; simulation results are announced too.
- Reading Settings (⚙, bottom right): high contrast, font size 12–24px, read aloud, braille view, sign-language reference.
- Pages reflow at 320px width; the home slideshow can be paused and respects reduced-motion settings.
Known limitations
- Besides NVDA in Chrome, hands-on testing with Sense Reader, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack and braille display hardware is ongoing.
- A plain-language (cognitive and learning) review has not been done yet.
- Sign-in, sign-up, payment and the certification exam run on separate systems that were not part of this evaluation.
How we evaluated
On 16–17 October 2026 we tested 20 public pages with axe-core 4.10.2 (WCAG 2.0/2.1 A and AA rules, 0 violations), tested the main flows with the NVDA 2025 screen reader in Chrome, and checked by hand with the keyboard, at 320px width and with increased text spacing. The same day we measured 19 public pages in Google Chrome for contrast (including text on gradients), form-control boundaries, focus, shortcuts and more. We fixed the problems we found and tested again. We will repeat the evaluation after major changes.
