Screen Reader Support
Pages use headings, landmarks and labelled buttons, so screen readers can move through menus and content. Dialogs announce their names. We tested the main flows with the NVDA screen reader in Chrome in October 2026; testing with other screen readers continues.
Keyboard Access
Menus, the language selector and the Reading Settings panel work with Tab, Enter, Space and Esc. A “Skip to main content” link appears on the first Tab, and focus stays inside an open dialog.
Braille View
“View in Braille” in the Reading Settings panel (⚙, bottom right) shows page text as Unicode Braille (U+2800–U+28FF). The IPA-based WIA Braille engine supports 88 language scripts.
88 Languages
The interface is available in 88 languages. The language selector can be used with a mouse, a keyboard or a screen reader.
Text-to-Speech
“Listen” in the Reading Settings panel reads the page aloud with your browser’s voice. You can stop it at any time.
Visual Accessibility
High contrast mode and font size (12–24px) in the Reading Settings panel. Pages reflow to a 320px-wide screen without horizontal scrolling.
Sign Language (WIA TALK)
WIA Talk: 93 gestures with a sign-language reference for Deaf and hard-of-hearing users.
Conformance Documentation
CQM Desk’s own reports, based on our WCAG 2.1 evaluation of October 2026.
Braille Displays
Braille displays connected through a screen reader can read CQM Desk pages. We have not yet tested specific devices — please tell us how it works for you.
