| Evaluation Methods | Automated testing with axe-core 4.10.2 (WCAG 2.0/2.1 A and AA rules) on 15 public pages; manual keyboard testing (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, Esc, arrow keys) of navigation, the language selector, the Reading Settings panel, the circuit editor, the 3D view and the simulator dialogs; measurement in Google Chrome on 19 public pages of text contrast including text on gradient backgrounds, form-control boundaries, focus visibility, hover content, single-key shortcuts, pointer events, language of parts, reflow at 320px and text-spacing override. Main flows of the public pages were tested and fixed with the NVDA 2025 screen reader in Chrome (16–17 October 2026). Not yet done: hands-on testing with Sense Reader, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack, and with braille display hardware. Sign-in, sign-up, payment and the certification exam run on separate systems and were not evaluated. |

Table 1: Success Criteria, Level A
| Criteria | Conformance Level |
| 1.1.1 Non-text Content (Level A) | Supports | Icons and images have text alternatives or are marked decorative. The 3D and radial circuit views expose a text summary of the circuit (qubits and each gate with its position) to assistive technology. |
| 1.2.1 Audio-only and Video-only (Prerecorded) (Level A) | Not Applicable | No prerecorded audio-only or video-only content on the evaluated pages. |
| 1.2.2 Captions (Prerecorded) (Level A) | Not Applicable | No prerecorded video with audio on the evaluated pages. |
| 1.2.3 Audio Description or Media Alternative (Prerecorded) (Level A) | Not Applicable | No prerecorded video on the evaluated pages. |
| 1.3.1 Info and Relationships (Level A) | Supports | Pages use headings, landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer), form labels and dialog roles. The simulator circuit exposes grid, row, row-header and cell roles (re-checked with NVDA and axe on 17 October 2026). |
| 1.3.2 Meaningful Sequence (Level A) | Supports | Reading order follows the visual order on the evaluated pages. |
| 1.3.3 Sensory Characteristics (Level A) | Supports | No instructions that rely only on shape, size, position or sound were found on the evaluated pages. |
| 1.4.1 Use of Color (Level A) | Supports | Links inside paragraphs are underlined, so they are not distinguished by color alone (automated check of 19 public pages on 17 October 2026: 0 color-only links). |
| 1.4.2 Audio Control (Level A) | Supports | No audio plays automatically. Read-aloud starts only when the user presses Listen and can be stopped. |
| 2.1.1 Keyboard (Level A) | Supports | Menus, the language selector, Reading Settings, the circuit editor (Classic view: arrow keys to move, Enter to place, Delete to remove) and the 3D view (arrow keys to rotate) work with a keyboard. Radial and Hybrid views show the same circuit; their zoom slider and switch button are keyboard operable. |
| 2.1.2 No Keyboard Trap (Level A) | Supports | Focus can always leave components; dialogs close with Esc and return focus. |
| 2.1.4 Character Key Shortcuts (Level A) | Supports | The simulator's single-key shortcuts (? and 1–4) can be turned off from the Help dialog; the setting is remembered. |
| 2.2.1 Timing Adjustable (Level A) | Supports | Public pages have no time limits. Certification exams run on a separate system where time limits are an essential part of the test. |
| 2.2.2 Pause, Stop, Hide (Level A) | Supports | The home-page slideshow has a pause/play button, pauses on hover and keyboard focus, and does not advance automatically when the system asks for reduced motion. The 3D view's automatic rotation can be paused and is paused from the start when reduced motion is requested. |
| 2.3.1 Three Flashes or Below Threshold (Level A) | Supports | No flashing content was observed. |
| 2.4.1 Bypass Blocks (Level A) | Supports | A “Skip to main content” link appears on the first Tab, and pages have a main landmark. |
| 2.4.2 Page Titled (Level A) | Supports | Every evaluated page has a descriptive title. |
| 2.4.3 Focus Order (Level A) | Supports | Focus order is logical; dialogs (including the simulator's welcome and help dialogs) move focus inside when opened, keep Tab inside, and return focus when closed. |
| 2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context) (Level A) | Supports | No generic link text (such as “here” or “more”) without context was found on the evaluated pages. |
| 2.5.1 Pointer Gestures (Level A) | Supports | Dragging gates has a single-pointer alternative: select a gate, then click a circuit cell. |
| 2.5.2 Pointer Cancellation (Level A) | Supports | No function completes on the down-event; pointer-down only starts dragging (3D rotation, moving the AI panel), which can be abandoned. |
| 2.5.3 Label in Name (Level A) | Supports | Visible labels are contained in accessible names (for example the language button "Language: Korean (KO)"), verified by an automated check of the public pages on 17 October 2026. |
| 2.5.4 Motion Actuation (Level A) | Not Applicable | No functions are operated by device motion. |
| 3.1.1 Language of Page (Level A) | Supports | The page language is set and is updated when the user changes language. |
| 3.2.1 On Focus (Level A) | Supports | Receiving focus does not change the context. |
| 3.2.2 On Input (Level A) | Supports | The interface language changes only when the user selects a language. |
| 3.3.1 Error Identification (Level A) | Supports | Required fields and the e-mail format are checked and the error is shown in text (browser validation). |
| 3.3.2 Labels or Instructions (Level A) | Supports | Form fields have visible labels connected to the field. |
| 4.1.1 Parsing (Level A) | Supports | For WCAG 2.1 this criterion is treated as always met for HTML (it was removed in WCAG 2.2). |
| 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (Level A) | Supports | Buttons, dialogs, the language selector, the mobile menu, panel toggles (expanded state), full screen (pressed state) and circuit cells expose name, role and state. Automated check of all simulator controls found 0 unnamed controls (17 October 2026). |
Table 2: Success Criteria, Level AA
| Criteria | Conformance Level |
| 1.2.4 Captions (Live) (Level AA) | Not Applicable | No live audio content. |
| 1.2.5 Audio Description (Prerecorded) (Level AA) | Not Applicable | No prerecorded video on the evaluated pages. |
| 1.3.4 Orientation (Level AA) | Supports | Content is not locked to portrait or landscape. |
| 1.3.5 Identify Input Purpose (Level AA) | Supports | Name, e-mail and phone fields in the contact form declare their purpose (autocomplete). Sign-in and sign-up run on a separate system that was not evaluated. |
| 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum) (Level AA) | Supports | Measured in Chrome on 19 public pages, including text on gradient backgrounds (which automated checkers cannot evaluate) against the least favourable gradient colour. About 280 shortfalls were corrected; none remain. |
| 1.4.4 Resize Text (Level AA) | Supports | Text can be enlarged with browser zoom and with the font size control (12–24px) in Reading Settings. |
| 1.4.5 Images of Text (Level AA) | Supports | Text is rendered as text; the logo is an allowed exception. |
| 1.4.10 Reflow (Level AA) | Supports | At a 320px-wide screen the 19 public pages reflow without horizontal scrolling (two card/form layouts were corrected) and the menu button remains available. |
| 1.4.11 Non-text Contrast (Level AA) | Supports | Form control boundaries were measured against their background and corrected to at least 3:1; the keyboard focus outline is clearly visible on the dark background. |
| 1.4.12 Text Spacing (Level AA) | Supports | With increased line, letter, word and paragraph spacing no content was clipped. |
| 1.4.13 Content on Hover or Focus (Level AA) | Supports | The only content that appears on hover is a small gate-information button that does not cover other content, stays while hovered and also appears on keyboard focus; gate details open on activation, not on hover. |
| 2.4.5 Multiple Ways (Level AA) | Supports | Pages can be reached through the main menu, footer links and the help page. |
| 2.4.6 Headings and Labels (Level AA) | Supports | Headings and labels describe their topic or purpose. |
| 2.4.7 Focus Visible (Level AA) | Supports | A visible focus outline appears for keyboard users; no styles remove it. |
| 3.1.2 Language of Parts (Level AA) | Supports | No passages in another script appear without a language mark on the 19 public pages; English words in Korean text are technical terms or product names, which the criterion exempts. Language names in the language selector are shown in the page language. |
| 3.2.3 Consistent Navigation (Level AA) | Supports | The shared header and footer keep navigation consistent. |
| 3.2.4 Consistent Identification (Level AA) | Supports | Components with the same function are identified consistently. |
| 3.3.3 Error Suggestion (Level AA) | Supports | The contact form explains in text, per field, how to fix an error (for example "That email address is not valid. Use the form name@example.com"). |
| 3.3.4 Error Prevention (Legal, Financial, Data) (Level AA) | Not Applicable | The evaluated pages do not commit legal or financial transactions; payments and exams run on separate systems. |
| 4.1.3 Status Messages (Level AA) | Supports | Simulation results, gate placement and removal, new chat messages, AI responses and contact-form results are announced to screen readers without moving focus. |
